Dr. Daniel Ben Yehuda was born and raised in Rome, Italy, on April 26, 1988, and is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist. During the past 4 years, he has been a full-time Clinical Professor, Chair of the Implant Committee, and Interim Vice-Chair of the Department of Restorative Clinical Sciences at the UMKC School of Dentistry. During his time at UMKC Dr. Ben Yehuda dedicated particular focus to the fields of implant dentistry and dental digital technologies and was the school’s representative for the International Team for Implantology (ITI). In addition to his teaching assignments, Dr. Ben Yehuda has been practicing in the UMKC Faculty Practice, where he has been treating private patients in prosthodontics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Ben Yehuda earned his first European Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Valencia, Spain, and then a second American DDS degree at the UMKC School of Dentistry. He has also completed a 3-years postdoctoral prosthodontics residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston (MA), earning a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dental Research. Dr. Ben Yehuda is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). He has published articles in the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry and has presented at the Academy of Osseointegration.

On a personal note, he lives together with his beautiful girlfriend and her sweet daughter. He has lived in several different countries and cities around the world and is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew. In his free time, he loves traveling, following different sports (Go Chiefs!), hiking, skiing, reading and furthering his dental education.
